The Haiti relief effort will be one of the relief efforts in US recent history. The government has already invested 100 million dollars to support Haiti’s immediate needs. This investment will grow as time goes on.

Today, on 01/14/10 communications are starting to come online. The US has sent food, water, doctors, nurses, arm forces, the coast guard, an aircraft carrier and more. Many celebrities like Ben Stiller and Ellen DeGeneres have pleaded for Americans to help.
